The journey so far.

After having made a few games for game jams, I decided to make a game for myself. I like rocks and crystals because they're cool so I decided to make a game based around those or something. Since I'm bad at making things, I copy pasted some code from a previous project which I had copy pasted from the Brackey's github... and then I fixed a bunch of compiler errors. Once that was all done I made some random pieces of art and threw them into the game, to make it look "okay-ish". So I had a little dude running around but what was his purpose? So I added some people to speak with and then I added something important. Magic. I added the Magic Crystal which allows you to shoot little magic balls. I added a little tutorial for the magic and then I was ready to add someone to fight. I added some little skeletons that stand still and shoot evil magic at you. When I was finished eating and dying and procrastinati- I mean, doing other things, I fixed all the bugs. Then I added spikes, and coins, and a talking cat, and a fish that owns a shop, and a lot of other stuff. After that I decided that it was a little mean to throw the player straight into dodging skeleton magic so I added another easier enemy. The slime. The slime just checks for you in it's radius and if it finds you it yeets itself towards you. If you touch the slime you take damage. After fixing all the horrid bugs that came with the slime it was time to test. I sent a build to my friend and they played through it and provided me with feedback. After fixing some things I uploaded the game to itch.io, and me and my friend tried speed running the game which was pretty fun. I wasn't too good. Anyways, this is a really long post so I'm going to end it here. Thanks for reading, please play the game.

Sincerely
